Flip Video UltraHD Camcorder Best low-light performance for the mini cameras (though not perfect at all) and least amount of blurring and dropped frames in my opinion. Best color. Only one with stereo sound. You may get an underwater problem due to this one! Although that might sound crazy for any Texan, we operate the camera continuous on holidays and even when we are not IN the water, we are most certainly around the water...on boats, inside sand with sea mist, etc. Then we are able to get to it and record the fish. Comes preloaded with flipshare software...just connect in to desktop it also pops up. Only one with stereo sound.
Simply the portability and ease of make use of can make this little camcorder something we use often. We now have two other video cameras we've had for years in which we never use them, even though they are more difficult to carry and also to use and also to upload from. I haven't done any tests or comparisons to see the actual quality of the video, but it looks fine to me. I do wish there arised the right way to know exactly how much battery was left before it required recharging.
It's not a lot bigger than my mobile phone, so I simply just keep it handy on my desk or end table and everytime the great-grandbaby is over we get a few minutes of "life discovery" - first rollover, first juice-sicle, crawling, discovering the toy box, making buddies with dog. All of this we probably wouldn't have gotten with a larger camcorder. Together with the small tripod, I could even aim it towards a chair or sofa or area on the floor and after that record myself using the baby.
Hard Drive problem! Computer not detecting!?
Hi I got a 500gb signature mini hard drive and its been acting weird lately. Every time I plug it into my computer it freezes the computer! I also tried this on a mac and a linux. This time the systems don't freeze but I can't find my files! I know they're still there because it says 317gb remaining! Could anybody please help me recover my data!
Also on windows the name used to appear as
Signature Mini E:) now it appears as Local Disk E:)
Mac and Linux will not recognize Windows file system.
You may plug your drive to another computer, or change usb connection.
If not working, then you may try recover your file using asoftech recovery.
