Which of these servers is better?
I have 2 servers that were given to me.
1) Sun Netra T1 105: 440MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, 2x18 GB SCSI HDD, CD-ROM
2) Compaq Proliant 800: 2x600MHz (one CPU doesn't work), ? RAM, 4x18GB SCSI HDD, CD-ROM
Which of these two servers is better? Probably depends on the application. However I don't know which one is better for what. Could some one out there help with the main differences between these and which applications these are better at than the other? If any of that makes sense.
The Compaq can run windows, the Sun cannot. The Sun uses a SPARC processor whereas the Compaq uses an x86.
