my laptop stalls at the bios?
Please help, I have an IBM Thinkpad, I have tried everything, holding down certain buttons etc., I can't get into safe mode, it keeps showing me the black screen, then the odd time i think i am making process and it starts loading Windows XP it just restarts itself and goes back to the black screen and says the message below:

if i press F8 it doesn't seem to make any difference, it brings up the black screen with that message then says press F2 or F12 on the bottom, but pressing those buttons gets me nowhere, it says entering system set-up (something like that) but it just stalls.
