Italian Charm Key Chain a Great Guy's Gift (for a Great Guy

Things had not been going well for me recently. It was nothing serious, it's just that I had some stress in my life. I hadn't been resting at all well. On this particular night, I couldn't seem to get to sleep. Each time I closed my eyes, a million things came into my mind. I finally decided to just get out of bed, move to the den and watch TV for a while. I fell asleep on the sofa and must have slept very soundly. When I awoke, it was 7:30--an hour past my usual wake-up time. I could vaguely hear my clock radio upstairs in my bedroom. I had to prepare myself for work and fast!

I pulled myself off the couch, took a quick shower, tossed on the clothes that I had put out the night before, grabbed what I needed and raced out the door. Unfortunately, the night before I had to park my car almost a full block way. I took a quick look at my watch to see that I was only going to be about thirty minutes late. I had managed to make up for some of my missing time already. I felt a little relieved until...I got to my car and realized that I didn't have my keys. I now remembered that those keys were now resting comfortably inside my locked townhouse. You guessed it. My house key was safely on that same keychain! I was not a happy camper.

I scanned the area, trying to find something heavy to smash my window. Yes, I was a little desparate and not processing my situation very clearly. Happily, my neighbor pulled into his parking pad next door. I must have startled him when I too loudly called out his name, because I saw some of his coffee slop out as he moved to close his door while trying to balance a cup, his keys, a newspaper and a breakfast sandwich. I explained my situation and asked his advice. I'm sure you know what happened next--he drove me to work practically on time and insisted that I eat his sandwich. While I usually try to avoid high-fat, fast food, who am I to turn down breakfast, especially after my start to the day. (It was delicious--high fat and all!)

Thanks to this wonderful acquaintance, I was able to arrive at work on time and make my presentation without my stomach growling. I wanted to give my neighbor something as a token of my appreciation and settled on a key chain. Not just ANY key chain, mind you, but an Italian Charm Keychain.

Italian charms are interchangeable links that can be arranged in any order and come in a huge variety of choices: sports team charms, NASCAR charms, and patriotic charms to name a few. These attractive links are stylish for both females AND males. I chose a Italian charm key chain with links representing a couple of his favorite sports teams, because he is a big fan of Boston area teams. He couldn't have been happier with it! Giving my neighbor an Italian charm key chain was a great thank-you gift for such a thoughtful man.

That terrific neighbor picked me up from work that day and contacted a locksmith to be at my home. He now keeps a spare key to my place on that new Italian charm key chain. It's a strictly platonic arrangement!

USB hub power surge Dell Lat D830 windows XP?

I've been having this weird issue with my laptop. Anytime I plug something into the usb port an error pops up saying something about a power surge in the usb hub and the computer shuts down. It happens with thumb drives, the laptop cooling fan pad, mouse ect. However if I boot the computer with the device in there, there is no issue. Also, if I even touch the device the computer turns off. Any help is appreciated.

I suspect the hub is defective. Since it happens with anything you plug in, this is probably unnecessary - but ---. Plug each USB device into the same port you have the hub plugged into and touch the device. If you don't have any problem with them, replace the hub.
